Browse to Main Menu > Parameters and check the Desktop Session Settings box: Close this window and go back to Main Menu > Parameters, then open Desktop Session Settings: Here you can check which upstart job is configured, and enable or disable them. You can get around this by adding DISPLAY=:0.0 before the command but I had no luck with that.įor the. Go in the Main Menu > Parameters > Main Menu Editor. Have you tried running the command I added? And does it work? Make sure you’re running the command not through ssh but ideally while connected directly with mouse and keyboard to the rpi otherwise you’ll get an error saying xserver not found or something similar. So you’ve managed to rotate the display itself, just the touch isn’t calibrated right? Here’s my current config.txt, where the rotation works and top left and bottom right corners work, with the top right and bottom left are inverted. Same result.Ĭan anyone help? I’m getting frustrated with this because this display as it is with this issue, it’s just unusable since I need it in this rotation. I’ve tried both the pi4 and pi4 with experimental touch fix. Rotation works perfectly fine with just the display_rotate=3 or display_lcd_rotate=3Įnabling or disabling the dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d in either the pi4 or all sections does nothing either. Nothing changed.įun fact: in the boot/config.txt file having dtoverlay=hyperpixel4 or dtoverlay=hyperpixel4:rotate doesn’t do anything. Repetier-Server is a bridge between you Repetier-Firmware controlled 3D Printer and your web browser. In this tutorial we show you how easy it is to backup and restore your Repetier-Server with our free Repetier-Server Monitor. If you backup /var/lib/Repetier-Server/ and install it on the new image you have same settings and files as on the old image. So the easier way is to install our image which is also raspbian just a bit shrinked to the required stuff and with some extra configurations. I’ve tried the process of manually editing the dto overlay file before installing, to replace the 480x800 resolution axis. So that is a complete package that is not really trivial to install. I’ve tried calibrating through this process described here: Touch Screen Calibration (Linux) and writing the matrix into the file “ /etc/udev/rules.d/les” but it also does nothing, for better or worse. This just leads me to believe only the touchscreen-inverted-x actually does anything. I have been trying to get Repetier host to run on it without success. So that is a complete package that is not really trivial to install. top left and bottom right work - top right and bottom left are inverted The image also has automatic webcam detection and usb insertion detection and screensaver management. And while it rotates the display, it does nothing for the touchscreen.Īnd all possible configurations of these 3 parameters doesn’t fix it: After a few issues, running it through SSH, I’ve managed to run the command without issue. In the 3rd step of the Repetier Server setup, we need to enter the geometry of the printer. In the second step, you need to configure the printer info, and how the printer connects to the Repetier Server. I can easily rotate the display, without any issue, so that the USB-C and HDMI ports are at the bottom but I can’t in any way make the touchscreen properly calibrated. Enter the name of your printer and continue with step 2. It has been most difficult but I don't want to leave repetier because I'm so very impressed with it when it did connect and print.I’ve been stuck for days trying to solve this issue and I just can’t get it to work, and there still doesn’t seem like there this an official solution for this. Could not find what port I'm on etc.as there is very little documentation for the orangepi and armbian. It got so bad that repetier server would not even connect on removing the Ender 3 and trying to set up from scratch. Unfortunately turning everything off for the night and then restarting in following evening resulted in a broken chain image on the browser and even though I asked repetier to connect to the printer it wouldn't or couldn't. The last few days I had a working repetier server on my orangepi talking to my Ender 3 pro. It has been very difficult finding resources in which to help, however I have learnt how to use putty and FileZilla to SSH and share files to install repetier server. I stumbled upon Repetier server by accident when trying to set-up another 3d printing server on my orangepi.
